Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for more than forty years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She then acted in numerous Broadway performances before she was a star on national stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The singer also released her debut album, titled It's Time to Tina that same year. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise won her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. When she was an undergraduate in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The actress joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her birth date was August 28, 1965 in Essex. When she was 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of throughout her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down to Toronto since then.
