Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress best recognized for her role as Margo on 'The Magicians' the Syfy television series of fantasy and drama that ran until the year 2015. The actress was previously recognized as the character of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl, Jasira Maroun who goes through emotional and traumatic experiences against the backdrop the U.S. invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film "Towelhead". The film was later selected by one of the '10 Actors to Watch' back in 2007. She was in 2009 as Taslima the powerful female character in the film crime drama Crossing Over, which earned her an nomination for the Independent Spirit Award under the category of "Best Female Lead".
